Selling Price Groups let you set different prices for the same product — for example, a retail price, a wholesale price, and a staff price. The correct price is automatically applied based on which customer group the buyer belongs to, or can be selected manually at POS.

Creating a Selling Price Group

  1. Go to Products → Selling Price Groups → Add Group
  2. Enter a name
    e.g. "Retail", "Wholesale", "VIP", "Export"
  3. 3Save

Setting Prices per Group

When adding or editing a product, you'll see price fields for each Selling Price Group you've created. Enter the specific price for each group. If a group has no price set, the default selling price is used.

Applying a Price Group at POS

There are two ways to apply a price group during a sale:

  • Automatic (via Customer Group): Assign a Selling Price Group to a Customer Group. All customers in that group will automatically get that pricing when selected at POS.
  • Manual: At the POS screen, find the price group selector and choose the relevant group for this particular sale.
Use case example: A pharmacy that sells to both retail customers and hospitals. Retail price for Paracetamol: $5. Hospital price: $3.50. Set up "Retail" and "Hospital" groups, configure both prices on the product, and assign each hospital to the "Hospital" customer group. The right price is applied automatically.
