Email Notifications (SMTP Setup)

To send invoices, statements, and alerts by email, configure your SMTP settings first. Go to Settings → Business Settings → Email Settings.

After saving, click Test Email to send a test message to verify the configuration works.

Gmail users: Enable 2-Factor Authentication on your Google account, then generate an "App Password" for Stockenzo under Google Account → Security → App Passwords. Use this app password instead of your regular Gmail password.

SMS Notifications

Send SMS alerts to customers (e.g. sale confirmation, payment due reminders). Go to Settings → Business Settings → SMS Settings. Stockenzo connects to SMS gateways via their API. Supported providers include Nexmo/Vonage, Twilio, and others.

Enter the API credentials from your SMS gateway provider. Once configured, SMS can be sent automatically after sales and manually from customer profiles.

Email Notification Settings

Configure which events trigger emails under Settings → Email Notification Settings. You can enable/disable emails for:

  • New sale invoice to customer
  • Payment confirmation to customer
  • Low stock alert to admin
  • Payment due reminder to customer

Auto-Sending Notifications

When auto-sending is enabled, notification emails/SMS are sent automatically at each event (e.g. an invoice email is sent to the customer every time you complete a sale). Go to Settings → Email Notification Settings → Auto Send to enable or disable this. If disabled, staff can still manually send notifications from individual invoices.

Browser / Desktop Notifications

Enable real-time browser notifications using Pusher integration. Go to Settings → Notification Settings → Pusher Settings. Create a free Pusher account, enter your App ID, Key, Secret, and Cluster. Once connected, staff get instant browser alerts for low stock, new orders, and payment notifications — without needing to refresh the page.

Internal System Notifications

Stockenzo has a built-in notification bell (?) in the top bar. Internal notifications appear here for events like: stock alerts, payment reminders, purchase order approvals needed, and system messages. Click the bell to see unread notifications and mark them as read.
