The Commission Agent feature lets you track and calculate sales commissions for your staff. When a sale is assigned to a commission agent, you can generate reports showing how much each agent has sold and how much commission they've earned.

Enabling Commission for a User

  1. Go to Users → Edit User
  2. Enable "Commission Agent"
    Toggle on the commission agent setting for this user.
  3. Set the commission percentage
    Enter the percentage of each sale the agent earns (e.g. 5%).

Assigning a Commission Agent to a Sale

On the POS screen, there is a "Commission Agent" dropdown. The salesperson making the sale can select who the commission should be credited to. This can be different from the logged-in user — for example, if one person takes the order and another processes it.

Viewing Commission Reports

Go to Reports → Sales Agent Report. This shows each commission agent's total sales, revenue generated, and commission earned for any date range. Useful for payroll and performance reviews.

Commission is calculated on the sale amount (before or after tax, depending on your configuration). Commission is tracked in the system but is not automatically paid — you'll use the report to calculate actual payments.
