Payment Accounts let you link your business bank accounts to specific payment methods in Stockenzo, making it easy to reconcile your physical bank statements against your system records.
Enabling Payment Accounts
Go to Settings → Payment Accounts → Enable Payment Account and turn on the feature.
Adding a Payment Account (Bank Account)
- Go to Settings → Payment Accounts → Add Account
- Enter account details:
Account name (e.g. "Main Current Account"), bank name, account number, and opening balance. - Assign to a location (optional)
If different branches use different bank accounts, link each account to its location. - 4Save
Setting Default Accounts per Payment Method
Go to Settings → Payment Accounts → Default Accounts. For each payment method (Cash, Card, Bank Transfer), select which account the money flows into. For example:
- Cash → "Cash in Hand" account
- Card → "POS Machine / Card Account"
- Bank Transfer → "Main Current Account"
With this set up, every sale automatically records which account received the funds — making bank reconciliation straightforward.
